These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of this portfolio website and contact form operated by Steve Schierholz. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms do not govern use of separate products or client engagements; those are subject to their own agreements where applicable.

The Site showcases my work, skills, and background. It includes a contact form for project quotes and general inquiries. Submitting an inquiry does not create a client relationship, contract, or obligation for either party until we agree in writing.

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to my systems, admin areas, or databases.
• Submit false, misleading, or spam inquiries (including through automated means).
• Interfere with the Site’s operation or security.

Site content—including text, layout, branding, and project showcase materials—is owned by me or my licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute Site content without my prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.

Project case studies may reference third-party trademarks or confidential work; those materials are presented for illustration only.

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Information on the Site about skills, timelines, or outcomes is illustrative and not a guarantee of future results.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. My total liability for claims related to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100) or the amount you paid me for use of the Site in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
